BRACAnalysis® Positive for a Deleterious Mutation or Suspected Deleterious

A positive for a deleterious mutation test result means that a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation analyzed in this panel was detected, indicating an increased risk for cancers associated with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome. The approach to managing this result is the same as the approach to a positive for a deleterious mutation result detected on Comprehensive BRACAnalysis®.
