Single Site MELARIS®
NO MUTATION DETECTED

A no mutation detected result on a Single Site test means that your patient did not inherit the hereditary risk for melanoma and pancreatic cancer in his/her family. Your patient's risk for melanoma may still be slightly increased over the general population (approximately 1.7 times higher) due to skin type or environmental factors and his/her medical management should be based on those risk factors. There are no published data suggesting that these mutation-negative individuals are at increased risk for pancreatic cancer. General population risks for melanoma and pancreatic cancer can be found here.
